A day at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park, Gazipur

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park is a very nice safari park near to Dhaka city in Bangladesh. It takes around 3 hours to go there from Dhaka. I’ve recently visited this park and I liked it due to a few reasons.

Very Large Area
Natural Views are great and the whole area is clean
You may get closer to Lion and Tiger! (From inside bus though 😉 )
Lots of Birds and other animals are there including monkey, ostrich, pythons.

So, once you reach there, you’ll need to collect a ticket for 50 BDT/person from ticket counter and enter the park. Just after entering, you’ll see a sitemap on right side. Have a look at there if you want.

After walking for a while, you’ll find the gate to Core Safari Park. There’s a ticket BDT 100/person for Core Safari Tour. This is where you’ll see Lion & Tigers. Here’s a video which covers the full ride. We couldn’t find Tigers though, my Bad Luck 🙁 .

After the ride, You can walk and see other parts of the park. Birds, Snakes, Crocodile, Fish and there’s also a small boat ride option. Here are a few more photos taken there.
